Hi there Sarah

I don't know if you remember us, but you sorted out our visa for Australia and helped us to relocate over here. Anyway, just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how everything is going and to let you know that we have really settled here in Adelaide, it's a beautiful place and we have been here over 10 months.

We are selling our house in the UK and looking to buy over here..we could never imagine living back in England now. We have 4 children who have settled well into school and one has just started a 4 year apprentice in engineering. There is so much opportunity here for families and the outdoor lifestyle is just what we dreamed of, and me and Richard found jobs very easily.

I just wanted to say thanks to you and your colleagues for the work you did getting us here, sometimes you must of thought it was never going to happen as we put it on hold for a year, then we dragged our feet collecting all the information you needed, even we thought that it was just a pipe dream and would never actually happen!!! We laugh about that when we are sat having a drink overlooking the sea and say to ourselves..."oh my god!..we are in Australia!!"

Thank you soo much, all my friends back in England ask how we got here and I will always recommend your company.

Thank you again.

Thought I would just disturb your day with a brief latest update. Golly, I hope you remember me!! It has been some time.

Well, having started life on the North Island, teaching at a small country school...I am now...living on the South Island and teaching at a large town school in Greymouth on the West Coast.

The move to the south island was prompted by my developing relationship with a certain South Westland farmer. WE decided that if I stayed on the North Island we just couldn't maintain the relationship as we only got to see each other during school holidays (and at two flights and a long drive it was a pretty big journey). WE wanted to see how we'd go if we were closer. Well,......on March 16th I will be marrying my kiwi farmer.

I am over the moon. He proposed the day after my 40th Birthday - we were on a long weekend away as it was the Queen's Jubilee Birthday weekend. Magic.

So, moving half way round the world was clearly the right thing for me to do! I'm somewhatoverwhelmed at moving to a 900 acre farm in a remote area - it's going to take some adjustment as I'm a town girl - buy hey, I've started baking and even helped my nearly mother in law make the base layer of our wedding cake! I can even operate a ride on mower and am a dab hand at driving the ute!!

Hope all going well at your end. I'll soon be applying for permanent residency as my returning residents visa will run out in January! Two years flown by! Then I have have to find out about changing everything to my married name. Ha!

Wishing you well,

Kind Regards

Tracy

Hi Sarah,

I received my visa, and original documents this morning, so thanks for that.

Couldn't quite believe it when I spoke to you on the phone, it was so quick. Thank you to you and your team at TEG for all your hard work.

I'm only looking to relocate late 2012. This year is flying by though, so best get planning haha.

Thanks again Sarah,

Hi Sarah,

I just wanted to say Thank You!! for all the help and assistance both you and the rest of the team have provided during the process.

I was shocked to say the least when the approval came in yesterday as I thought we'd have a few more weeks or months of waiting :-)

Kind regards

Hi Diane,

Sorry this has taken a while, the last month or so has been particularly busy for me. We have been doing a bit of travelling. Moira and I needed a break after all the hard work of getting to New Zealand, finding a house and jobs. Fortunately we both have a great set of work colleagues who have helped us out immensely. So we took a trip to Norfolk, no not in East Anglia, but Norfolk Island, great little place to unwind and chill.

Since then I keep getting trips to Australia and Singapore for work – never done quite so much travel.

As for The Emigration Group, I am not sure if we have mentioned this before, but it took a lot of the stresses out of completing all the paperwork – we certainly could not have done all this without your help and hold down full time jobs at the same time. Your company has made the move so much easier and gave us time to concentrate on the other stuff like packing up the house, searching for jobs and so on.

You were always very helpful and prompt with any communication and nothing was ever too much trouble. You in effect have changed our lives considerably and I might add for the better. We have both settled into the NZ way of life, in fact my boss has repeatedly said I have become accustomed to Kiwi ways very quickly.

We cannot thank the Emigration Group enough for all their help and support during our move. Once again many thanks.
