South Australia adds new professions to the State Nominated Occupation List

June 30, 2013

In order to keep up with demand in South Australia, the State has added seven new occupations to the State Nominated Occupation List.

The list contains occupations which are eligible for sponsorship under the State Nominated Migration Scheme, and this can be a great opportunity for applicants who might not be eligible under the General Skilled Migration Program to still migrate as a skilled worker.

From 1 July 2013, the State Nominated Occupation List for South Australia will include a host of new additions such as:

· Social worker

· Welfare worker

· Community worker

· Youth worker

· Baker

· Pastry Cook

· Chef

Each of these occupations will have a limited quota – so if you currently have skills that could fill one of these roles it’s important that you get your application in quickly.

Here at The Emigration Group we have decades of experience helping potential migrants make the move to start a new life overseas – and you could be next.

If you are qualified in any of the above occupations and have skills and work experience in these areas then we’d encourage you to get in touch and see if you are eligible for migration.
