New Zealand Expression of Interest selection 13 June 2012
The following EOIs were selected from the pool for validation on 13 June 2012
398 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 140 or above:
302 with job offer
96 without job offer
81 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included points for offers of skilled employment or current skilled jobs in New Zealand.
104 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 130 or more but less than 140, and included 15 bonus points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage.
A total of 583 EOIs representing 1,241 people were therefore selected
Conclusion: Only 20% of applicants managed to achieve the selection point without a job offer. Thus, 80% of ordinary applicants needed a job offer to qualify. Clearly, getting a job is of paramount importance to your application, which is where our Jobsearch Programme is best placed to help
