The following EOIs were selected from the pool for validation on 19 September 2012:
426 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 140 or above:
333 with job offer
93 without job offer
109 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included points for offers of skilled employment or current skilled jobs in New Zealand.
45 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 130 or more but less than 140, and included 15 bonus points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage.
A total of 580 EOIs representing 1,238 people were therefore selected
Conclusion: Only 16% of applicants managed to achieve the selection point without a job offer. Thus, 84% of ordinary applicants needed a job offer to qualify. Clearly, getting a job is of paramount importance to your application, which is where our Jobsearch Programme is best placed to help.
