Life in New Zealand according to expats
An HSBC survey of 22,318 expats has ranked New Zealand as one of the best destinations to be! New Zealand tends to rate highly in liveability rankings and came second only to Singapore in HSBC's 2018 list of the top destinations for expats.
New Zealand's ranking in this survey is larely a result of its high scores in the experience and family categories, which include factors such as quality of life, healthcare, integration and tolerance.
Asked what they liked best about their adopted homeland, many of the expats cited its natural beauty, relatively relaxed way of life, abundance of uncrowded open space and multiculturalism.
