New Zealand Expression of Interest Selection 3 October 2012
The following EOIs were selected from the pool for validation on 3 October 2012:
411 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 140 or above:
296 with job offer
115 without job offer
86 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included points for offers of skilled employment or current skilled jobs in New Zealand.
262 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 125 or more but less than 140, and included 15 bonus points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage.
A total of 759 EOIs representing 1,674 people were therefore selected
Conclusion: Only 28% of applicants managed to achieve the selection point without a job offer. Thus, 72% of ordinary applicants needed a job offer to qualify. Clearly, getting a job is of paramount importance to your application, which is where our Jobsearch Programme is best placed to help.
