The following EOIs were selected from the pool for validation on 24 July 2013:
482 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 140 or above:
378 with job offer
104 without job offer
109 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included points for offers of skilled employment or current skilled jobs in New Zealand.
A total of 591 EOIs were therefore selected .
Conclusion: Only 22% of applicants managed to achieve the selection point without a job offer. Thus, 78% of ordinary applicants needed a job offer to qualify. Clearly, getting a job is of paramount importance to your application, which is where our Jobsearch Programme is best placed to help.
