New Zealand Dollar Advances on Jobs Report and Interest Rate Decision

New Zealand’s currency gained after its central bank left interest rates on hold at 2.5%. Reserve Bank Governor Alan Bollard said the economy would start to recover toward the end of the year and traders added to bets interest rates will rise in the next 12 months. “We expect the New Zealand economy to begin growing again toward the end of this year”. Bollard said in Wellington.
