5000 Construction Workers Needed in Christchurch

The New Zealand government estimates that an extra 5000 construction workers are needed for the Canterbury rebuild!

Supporting the rebuild is a priority for the government who recognise that they need to remove barriers to allow employers to recruit more skilled workers from overseas and has agreed to change their immigration policy to streamline the visa process and improve labour market flexibility in Canterbury.
